Friction
Some people just rub us the wrong way. That is inevitable: none of us are perfectly smooth, rounded, instantly likeable, infinitely patient, even-keeled, etc.
But it is just that friction with others - your co-founders, employees, partners, spouse, parents, children - that helps us lose the sharp edges, fill in the defects, polish our own character.
If those around you just kowtow and sweet-talk you, you will never attain perfection.
People we find "challenging" are a special blessing. Be grateful for them.
